Nita Juddoo: "The MMM has strayed from its roots"
“I grew up in the political pot.”
Speaking to Dimanche/L’Hebdo, the president of En Avant Moris reflects on her path: a childhood steeped in 1970s MMM militancy (her father, Ramduth Jaddoo, was arrested in 1969), years abroad that “deeply marked” her, and a clean break from a party she now sees as “bourgeois” and disconnected from its founding values — equal rights, equal opportunity, defence of the weakest.
