Patrick Belcourt

Leader

To serve as the representative of Stanley Rose Hill in the National Assembly is my goal.

I grew up among you. I am one of you. That is why I aspire to represent our constituency

I believed in my destiny and worked hard to move forward in life so that poverty would not be a fate we simply accept.

Yes, I returned to Mauritius in 2006, even though I was already working in the banking sector in Europe. Yes, I held important positions in the banking sector in Mauritius. No, I am not crazy to leave everything behind to serve my country and to choose the place where I grew up as my constituency.

Sure, it would have been easier to join a mainstream political party and go with the flow. But that’s exactly what we need to fight: ease! Because it’s enough to open our eyes and minds to realize that the same causes produce the same effects. We will have the same problems if we keep those in place who cause them. These political formations are no longer suited to our development. We must have the courage to change.

Like me, several other citizens have dared to leave their comfort zones to join EN AVANT MORIS on the path of change. I hope that, like them, other citizens in all the constituencies where we will be present will join us on the road to better tomorrows.
